OPPO F7 |
After making selfie smartphone image, Oppo has now focused on design and performance. The same is seen in the recently launched Oppo F7. After using it for about 10 days, here is Review of Oppo F7.When the Oppo device is in hand, the camera must first be tested. F7 comes with 16MP back camera. Timelaps, videos, photos, pano, and expert features are already seen. Except the Expert option, the rest of the features are easy to handle. To get manual photo, you have to set up white balance, ISO and shutter speed by going to Expert. In particular,During Day close-up shots are great. Even the night photos were clearer, but when took the bokeh effect, the background became more blur than it needed. This is exactly same what happens when photographing in Vivid mode. There was some disappointment in the case of video recording. Stabilization is not as good. The camera supports up to 1080 pixels, in such a way, the idea of 4K resolution will be removed from the heart.
Front camera is the life of this Smartphone. The 25MP lens has F 2.0 aperture. It is equipped with Sony's IMX 576 sensor. In indoor, outdoor, every selfie was great and full detailed. Even after zooming, pixels are visible. Photos taken in Vivid mode were much better. A good feature of this device equipped with AI Technics is that On using any editing feature again and again AI customize it and does not need editing on next photo. Photos are saved in different segments in the gallery. i.e. Selfie in different folder and the rest separates. AR stickers are good, but
After taking photos with Beauty mode, the picture looked a bit artificial. As it is edited.
Oppo F7's design is fantastic. Red Variants felt a bit darker. The glass cover in the plastic body is premium. The device comes with a notch display. MediaTek's Helio P60 processor has been used in the device. The Helio P60 was introduced in the Mobile World Congress this year and it is said to be equivalent to Snapdragon 660 in terms of performance. There was no problem in performance. Gaming was smooth. The phone did not heat even after playing a graphic game.Yes! Custom UI, which
Oppo has its own 'Color OS', it was not good. App icons given in the default theme are quite large.
There is no special theme in the store. 'Speed tracker' feature is good. It tells you how much you walk in a day. With the 'Clone Phone' feature, you can share the data with another device, just by scanning the QR code.
The Face Unlock feature is effective. In Oppo Cloud you get 5 GB of storage
It is not needed, though. You can turn on 'do not disturb' while playing a game. Despite so many features, it was disappointing not to get fast charging. Front does not have flash light. The video ran for 10 to 12 hours in 3400 mAh battery. Vivo V9 and Nokia 7 Plus are also good options. But if there is a focus on performance and selfies, then the Oppo F7 will have a 4 GB variant right choice.
