Together with the previous launch of V9 in Thailand and Philippines,
the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer has now launched the same model in India with
a tag of Rs-22,990/-. The V9 incorporates a notch popularized by the iPhone X.
Looks like iPhone X at a distance. Vivo India brings in Aamir Khan as its new
brand ambassador, advertising to be a blockbuster.
The product has 6. 3-inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD
"FullView" display 2.0 with 19: 9 aspect ratios, merged in a
traditional 5.5-inch body. The display is impressive and offers a superior
experience of details, stunning hues, sharper brightness and a wide color
range. The device runs Fun Touch 4. 1 user program (UI) based on Android 8.1
Oreo operating system. The wallpaper is similar to Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL
devices, and the stock theme appears to be a blend of iOS and Google android. The
"Smart Motion" feature let users control functions with gestures. You
can turn the flashlight on by shaking the device, just like you can do with
Motorola. Even though the device has bloat ware, it functions smoothly thanks to
the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor chip which is coupled with 4GB RAM. It proved
helpful with several software utilizing the background. The device neither
heated up nor did experience any separation.
The device includes 32GB on-board storage and has an option to expand up to 256GB. The USP of Vivo V9 is the AI-powered camera. The device carries 16MP+5MP dual-rear camera system. The photographs clicked from the camera were rich in color, the autofocus worked well and pictures in day-light conditions were crisp. The camera also clicked great portraits and offered an option to change the quantity of blur. Vivo V9`s rear camera offers features such as Ultra HD, Slo-mo, Live Photos, Retina, Adobe flash and Augmented Reality (AR) stickers. In live photographs, the camera clicks several photographs to make a GIF image. The device sports a 24MP selfie camera with AI feature. The front camera also has "Portrait Mode" and returns excellent results. Selfies in well-lit as well as low-light conditions were good. Yet, the front camera took a little while to process the image to brighten it up when we clicked the photographs in low-light conditions.
The bokeh mode specially is a very effective feature present in the latest smartphone of Vivo V9. There is a small lack that is its stabilization while making a video with its rear camera of 16MP+5MP. It focuses on the objects a little late than in reality while recording a video. Overall the phone is awesome with new added features and its screen is so attractive with edge to edge display. It has entered to Indian market for more, have one of it to get experienced more and enough.
